Terms and conditions of Therapy

The Therapeutic Relationship

I will work with you in an equal partnership, with the aim to support you achieve positive change.

I will act in accordance with my professional ethical and moral code on conduct.

I will work to the absolute best of my ability, giving you 100% effort and I kindly ask the same in return.

Your sessions are completely confidential and will be held in my private studio, which is a very calm, welcoming and safe space.

Illness

If you have flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with Covid or any infectious illness, please rearrange your appointment or change to a remote counselling session (via Zoom)

Cancelation policy

Your appointment payment is required in advance within 24 hours of you reserving your time slot. It will be held for 24 hours until payment is made in full, if extra time is needed, please contact me to arrange.

Invoices can be sent if required.

If you cancel in less than 24 hours you will still be charged for your session, unless under mutually agreed circumstances.

Counselling Boundaries.

Standard sessions are 60 minutes. All new clients first session will last up to 90 minutes, so please allow enough time for this.

If you arrive late your sessions will still start and end at the allocated time.

Contact outside of therapy sessions is to be made during working hours.

Any aggressive, inappropriate behaviour or breach of counselling boundaries will lead to the termination of our sessions.
